Over 43,000 fans attend bwin Trofeo Naranja

Valencianistas were out in force on Saturday night for the bwin Trofeo Naranja. Over 43,000 fans had a date with the team in the presentation game, packing Mestalla and providing a great atmosphere.
Before the game against Internazionale, club legend and ambassador Ricardo Arias -the man with the all-time appearance record for Valencia CF- took to the field with the replica of the club's founding flag. It was the appetiser for the appearance of the Copa del Rey, won last season by VCF and displayed on the pitch by captains Dani Parejo and Jaume Domenech.
The 2019/20 squad were introduced before kickoff, as were the coaching staff, whilst the Valencian regional anthem was sung by tenor Antonio Navas.
The importance of the fanbase has been emphasised by players and club representatives alike, and the Valencianistas showed that they are ready to support their club with the extra push that Mestalla provides.
